Microsoft has started rolling out its live transcription service in Microsoft Teams. The latest addition comes after Zoom recently announced its own live transcription feature. As the video-meeting market is currently experiencing increased competition, different companies are releasing live transcription functionalities. Back in December, Cisco announced its closed captioning service for Webex; Zoom last month brought live transcription to free accounts, and recently Google brought the live transcription feature to Chrome. Facebook has announced that it is extending FIDO support to mobile device to help users secure their account on the social network. Since 2017, Facebook has allowed users to secure their accounts on desktop using security keys to protect sensitive information from hackers. Thanks to the added support for mobile devices, Facebook users can now setup two-factor authentication and log into iOS or Android apps using a security key.
