The Adam Project has become the fourth most-viewed English language movie on Netflix. According to Deadline, Netflix revealed that the Adam Project has been viewed by a large number of subscribers to have a total of 233,150,000 views in its first 28 days on the platform.
Thanks to these numbers, The Adam Project is now in the fourth place on Netflix’s rankings with Ryan Reynolds becoming the first actor to hold three positions in the streaming giant’s top ten. Unsurprisingly, Red Notice that saw Reynolds uniting with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Gal Gadot. The movie was viewed 364,020,000 times in its first 28 days. In the third spot is Reynolds and director Michael Bay’s action thriller 6 Underground coming in at number 3, which drew 205,470,000 views.
In case you’re wondering, the rest of the list consists of Don’t Look Up at number 2, Bird Box at number 3, Chris Hemsworth-led action flick Extraction at number 5. These movies are currently followed by The Unforgivable starring Sandra Bullock, Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, the teen romantic comedy The Kissing Booth 2, and finally Mark Wahlberg’s Spenser Confidential, which sits at number 10.
Ryan Reynolds reunited with Free Guy director Shawn Levy for this sci-fi action flick. The movie paid numerous tributes to the childhood hits from 1980s. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Walker Scobell, The Adam Project centers on a 13-year-old Adam as he discovers that the older version of himself played by Ryan Reynolds, has been injured after a crash landing which comes as a result of him traveling from the future and into his own childhood.
Co-starring Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Catherine Keener, and Zoe Saldaña alongside Ryan Reynolds and Walker Scobell, The Adam Project has since been met with largely positive reviews.
