Microsoft 365 Web Apps Will Allow Switching Between Multiple Accounts without Singing Out Soon

If you use Microsoft 365 apps such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook with multiple accounts, then you’ll be glad to know that pretty soon you’ll be able to use multiple accounts without signing out.

As you might already know, you can only sign-in to single Microsoft account in a browser at one time. If you want to use a different account, you’ll first have to sign out from your current account and then log into the other one. As people keep their work and personal accounts separate from each other, it’s pretty old method as it prevents the workflow.

Thankfully this process is changing as Microsoft listed Feature ID 70801 on the Microsoft 365 Roadmap. The listing says, “Users can sign into multiple work and personal accounts on Microsoft 365 web apps in the same browser. This also allows them to seamlessly switch between the accounts without having to sign out and sign back in again.”

If you’re looking to use the feature, then you’ll need to wait a bit longer as Microsoft added the listing to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap today with a target release date of April 2022.
