Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is Close to End of Filming

It’s been just over a month since James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 was ready to start shooting and now, the movie is already heading into the final weeks of filming. James Gunn turned to Twitter to provide an update to the fans about the ongoing filming. Gunn revealed that there are now just 13 days of filming left for the movie.

As it stands, the movie is set to be the final installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy in their current form. As a result, fans are eagerly waiting for the movie that is set to arrive in theaters next May. After its first outing in 2014 with relatively unknown characters, it looks like the upcoming movie will be an emotional send-off for several characters.

Gunn’s latest update is a welcome one considering the issues caused by Covid over the last two years. Numerous movies including some of the previous Marvel movies’ production dragged on for a long period over last two years. However, it seems that everything is returning to normal as the pandemic disappears over the horizon.

As for the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the audiences will get the first glimpse of Adam Warlock. Although the character was teased in the post credit scene of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, we don’t have any information about the plot of the movie. However, we should learn more about the upcoming installment before the movie eventually hit the theaters next summer.

At the moment Marvel is working on integrating other characters in the in different movies and television shows. Few months earlier we learned about Marvel’s plans of a Nova series for Disney+ which means we might see the next appearance of the Guardians collective. While the discussions over last couple of months revolved around big movies such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Nova should expand the cosmic side of MCU that has been emerging over last couple of movies.
