Sony Acquires Haven Studios to Add Talents to Existing PlayStation Studios

Sony has announced that it is acquiring Haven Studios in an attempt to add the company’s talents to existing PlayStation studios. Although Haven studios is just a year old, some of the major employees of the company have previously worked for big titles including The Sims, Assassin’s Creed, and Star Wars: Battlefront.

Jade Raymond who founded Ubisoft Toronto and Motive Studios said, “As a [Sony Interactive Entertainment] first-party studio, we will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s most renowned development teams, including studios like Guerrilla, Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, and Insomniac Games, the creators of games that have inspired us as players and developers for years.
