As sending a voice message is faster than typing it out, most of the modern messaging apps come with voice message feature. While most of these apps come with the voice messaging feature, they don’t allow users to control the playbacks. WhatsApp wants to change it as the company is currently working on a feature that allows users to control the playback speed of the audio clip.
According to a recent report, WhatsApp is currently testing out a feature on the iOS app where users can control the playback speed of their voice messages. However, this isn’t the first time we are hearing about this feature. WhatsApp previously tested the feature out on Android but with iOS, the company is testing out three different playback speed.
At the moment however, the feature is still in beta and it’s unclear when it’ll be coming out to users. Apart from this, the latest beta introduced bunch of other features including the ability to stay connected to WhatsApp web even if your smartphone doesn’t have access to internet. WhatsApp is trying out the feature to improve multidevice functionalities.
You can try out the latest features by joining the beta program of the app and connect up to 4 devices at once.
