Google announced earlier today that Resident Evil Village will be coming to Stadia with several added perks for those who order the title through Stadia. According to the announcement, Stadia users can check out Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition. In order to promote the title, Stadia announced a new promotion for the game to make Stadia as one of the preferred places to buy the highly anticipated title.
In case you’re wondering, Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition will become available through Stadia Pro from April 1st. The game will contain all of the extra content that originally shipped for the game which includes the base game in addition to Banned Footage Vol. 1 and 2, End of Zoe, and Not a Hero. Although the game will be unavailable outside Stadia Pro, Google didn’t reveal how much it’ll cost.
In case you purchase Resident Evil Village through Stadia, you’ll also be eligible to receive a Stadia Premiere Edition which comes with a Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra. While the Stadia Premiere edition will be included with the price of Resident Evil Village, you’ll need to either pre-order or buy the title before May 21st to be eligible to receive it.
If you pre-order the title, you’ll be given a redemption code within a week of the launch. The email will contain the details on how to redeem the code.
Resident Evil Village will be out on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on May 7th.
