After years of anticipation, Apple finally unveiled its own processors earlier last year. While reviewers have praised M1’s performance, it also means Apple is likely to move away from Intel over next couple of years. Although Intel hasn’t responded to the new M1 chip for a long time, the chip manufacturer has recently launched a website to claim that Intel processors are superior to Apple’s M1 chip.
In the website, Intel compare the M1 chip against its own processors. Through the website, Intel highlighted different advantages of Intel processors such as screen touch support, multiple form factor options, option to play many games, and so on.
This isn’t the first time Intel or other companies have compared their products against Apple’s new processors. Earlier this year, Microsoft launched its own ads trying to show why Windows is better that Mac. Unlike Microsoft, Intel went as far as hiring Justin Long who was known for playing “I’m a Mac” in Apple’s series of ads back in the day to promote Intel’s PCs.
