Warner Bros. Games Montreal has delayed the release of Gotham Knights until next year. Although the studio hasn’t provided any specific reason for the delay, the ongoing pandemic is most likely the cause. As a lot of publishers have been delaying the launch of their highly anticipated titles because of Covid, the news doesn’t come off as a major shock.
The studio announced the delay via Twitter. As the studio aims to provide the best experience for players, the game will now launch later in 2022.

Warner Bros. Montreal unveiled the title earlier last year. As you can already imagine, the game takes place in Gotham City. Although the story is unclear as of now, rumors suggest that the story takes place following the death of Batman. Players will be able to control one of the four characters as the fight against secret criminal society.
As of now, the open world RPG will arrive on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC. The studio revealed that it will reveal more information about the game in the coming months.
