After few weeks of downward trend, Bitcoin has reached a new all-time high the cryptocurrency crossed the $60,000 mark for the first time in its history.
According to CoinDesk, Bitcoin crossed the valuation on March 13th around 6:30 am CST when the value of 1 Bitcoin peaked at $60,322.60. Although the prices have dropped since then, the cryptocurrency was still hovering around the $60K mark.
If you have been following the cryptocurrency closely, then the new milestone shouldn’t really come off as a massive surprise. Although Bitcoin reached $58,000 mark on February 21, the cryptocurrency experienced low trend but since that time, the currency is experiencing an upward trend as it finally crossed the $60,000 mark.
The cryptocurrency market has been growing steadily as more financial institutions are finally acknowledging different coins. Recently Mastercard revealed that it is working on supporting crypto later this year. Moreover, larger banks along with tech companies such as PayPal, Tesla and Twitter are getting on the cryptocurrency market.
