Although Apple Maps faced number of issues in the early days, the app has come a long way since then as the tech giant has regularly updated the app with new features. Apple recently added speed camera feature to the app and now, it seems that the feature is rolling out in other parts of the world.
Apple released the latest feature intended to inform users about different areas so that drivers know where they should slow down to avoid getting fined. Although Apple released the feature to limited number of users at start, Apple is rolling out the feature in more countries.
Initially, the rollout was limited to the US, UK and Ireland and now, Apple has expanded the feature to users located in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and Taiwan. Although this is still a small percentage of the world, the entire process is crowdsourced which means it’ll take some time before the feature comes to users located in other parts of the world.
If the feature is something important for you, then you might want to use a different navigation app such as Google Maps or Waze which are packed with similar features in addition to the ability to report accidents or police sightings.
