There hasn’t been any shortage of rumors surrounding Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite over last couple of weeks. Now, Samsung has finally announced both of the smartphones.
Although both of the devices come with ‘Lite’ tag, they feature some impressive specifications. First of the two newly announced smartphone, Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen and weighs at 186g. s for cameras, the smartphone comes with three rear cameras that features a macro, an ultrawide and a 48MP wide-angle lens as previous rumors have suggested. Apart from these, the device features a 32MP selfie camera that features the current punch-hole design.
In addition to the impressive camera setup, Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor, 8GB of Ram and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery which is bigger than the one found in the regular Galaxy S10.
Galaxy Note 10 Lite on the other hand, features a similar display and camera setup. However, instead of macro camera sensor, the Note 10 Lite features a 12MP telephoto lens. However, the smartphone comes with 6GB RAM. Despite that, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with a 10nm processor which should make up for less RAM. As expected, Galaxy Note 10 Lite keeps all of the key Note 10 functionalities such as handwriting-to-text and navigation with the included S Pen.
At the moment, it’s unclear when Samsung will release the smartphones. However, given Samsung is set to announce Galaxy S11 in few weeks’ time, it’s likely that the latest smartphones will be available for everyone sooner rather than later. As we move forward, we should learn more about the latest devices in the next couple of days.
