Tesla to Unveil 'Cybertruck' Electric Pickup on November 21

In a recent tweet earlier on Wednesday, Elon Musk revealed that Tesla will be unveiling its electric truck later on November 21. Named “Cybertruck”, Musk revealed that the company were inspired by the flying cars, Spinners in Blade Runner.

However, this announcement doesn’t come off as a major surprise. Although Tesla was set to reveal the vehicle back in September, Musk pushed it back to the date. And unsurprisingly, the date and place of the announcement coincide with the setting from the movie.

At the moment, we don’t know a lot of details regarding the upcoming vehicle apart from some fan renders.

While we will have to wait to find out the specifications of the upcoming pickup truck, Musk claimed that the truck will come with better utilities than F-150 while outperforming Porsche 911. Given Tesla’s electric semi-truck can go 0 to 60 miles per hour in just five seconds, it won’t be surprising if the upcoming vehicle beats that record.

In past, Musk has said that the truck will be able to carry up to five passengers and will have a range of 400 to 500 miles. Although price is unknown at this point, it’s likely that the pickup truck will be sold around $50,000.
