Few weeks earlier we learned about Blizzard’s plans on releasing a new World of Warcraft expansion. While details of the upcoming expansions weren’t revealed, Blizzard has now announced its latest World of Warcraft expansion, Shadowlands.
During the opening ceremony, the company showcased the cinematic trailer that shows former Horde leader Sylvanas Windrunner challenging the current Lich King for the throne. Afterwards, she quickly dispatches him before ripping the crown in half and shattering the skies.
From the trailer however, we didn’t get to know her intensions. Previous leaks have suggested that the expansion will see players venturing into the Realms of the Dead. Blizzard revealed that there will be five new realms for players to explore.
Moreover, the upcoming expansion will introduce improved character customizations as well as improved levelling system to provide meaningful sense of achievement. Although we don’t know the exact release date of the upcoming expansion, Blizzard is reportedly working with a 2020 release date in mind.
