Shortly after the announcement on Twitter, a number of users were quick to point out that the redesigned logo isn’t completely different from current logo. In fact, if you take a look at the unveiled logo, you’d see that the letter has been stylized into green and blue wave. Moreover, the logo looks similar to logos used by other companies.
This latest announcement comes as Microsoft revealed the new icon as an Easter egg after fans completed a series of clues which were posted by the company. Following the completion of several puzzles, fans were greeted with the upcoming logo.
If you have been following Microsoft, then you already know that Microsoft has been updating its users on a consistent basis as the company continues to work on Edge. Although the browser is in beta, it’s unclear when Microsoft intends to release the full version of the browser. But expect to see a number of changes to the browser as Ignite 2019 is just few hours away.
