Although we have heard rumors that Apple will launch its 16-inch MacBook Pro this year, the company didn’t reveal the laptop as expected in October. However, a recent image of the laptop has found its way online (via 9to5Mac) that showcases a TouchID key that that is separated from the Touch Bar. As a result, it seems that the laptop might end up having a dedicated escape key.
We are hearing about the 16-inch MacBook Pro for a while now. During this year’s WWDC, apple didn’t add any major update to its MacBook Pro lineup as they got slightly faster processor. At the time, the company introduced new key design to address the much-discussed keyboard issues of different MacBook models. However, it wasn’t surprising considering Apple just refreshed the laptops few months prior to the event.
Shortly after the event, reports started surfacing that Apple has been working on a new 16-inch MacBook Pro. At that time, Forbes reported that Apple would start production of the laptop in September and finish in November. According to the report, Apple will ditch the 15.4-inch model. Moreover, the laptop would also get Intel’s Coffee Lake H processor,
Apart from this, the Laptop is rumored to contain new keyboard design to finally address the problem. However, with the year coming to a close, it will be interesting to see if Apple announces a new laptop in the coming weeks.
