After several months, Microsoft has relaunched its Xbox All Access financing program and has added an option that will allow user to upgrade to upcoming Project Scarlett after the equivalent of 18 monthly payments.
In case you didn’t know, Microsoft launched the trial period of the program earlier last year before pausing it in December. During the period, consumers will be able to purchase an Xbox One S or Xbox One X along with 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate access for monthly payments.
The financing program will be particularly attractive to consumers located in the U.S. and the UK as they will have the ability to upgrade their consoles to Project Scarlett after the financial period. However, the upgrade program is available only until end of this year.
The company explained, “Enjoy the option to upgrade to the next Xbox console after the equivalent of 18 payments. Get the next Xbox console with a new Xbox All Access purchase from the same retail partner where you joined the program, and trade-in the console originally purchased with Xbox All Access.”
At the moment however, it’s unclear how the upcoming console will perform compared to the current generation of console. During the announcement at E3 earlier this year, Microsoft revealed that the Project Scarlett uses a custom AMD processor, high bandwidth GDDR6 memory as well as new SSD.
As we move forward, we should learn more about the upcoming console.
