For last several months Microsoft has been releasing new updates for its Launcher on Android. If you are enrolled in the company’s beta program to test out the new features as they become available, then you’d be glad to know that the company just released version 5.10 to the users enrolled in the beta program.
Similar to the previously released 5.9, the latest release is a small update and covers the systemwide dark theme setting for Android Pie and 10. Although Microsoft Launcher already had a dark theme, users would be required to set up the option manually. With Android 10 supporting systemwide dark theme, the new update will select the default system settings automatically which should minimize the effort necessary to apply the settings. On the other hand, if you want to use other settings, you can also select them from the launcher’s settings.
Apart from bringing support for systemwide dark theme, the latest update fixed a small number of bugs and introduced several performance improvements. Given that Microsoft released 5.9 version to the general public just recently, you might not need to wait too long in case you aren’t enrolled in the beta program. If you are interested in Launcher or want to join the beta program, you can do so by going to the official Play Store page here.
