Google Launches Chrome 78 with Security Updates and New Features

Earlier on Tuesday, Google released a new version of Chrome. The browser is available for all desktop versions and as expected, the latest version of Chrome brought few changes to the browser.

While the update doesn’t bring a lot of new features, it introduced a number of bug fixes. As for the features, Chrome 78 introduces a new tab overlay feature. The search engine giant had been working on the feature for pretty long time and the feature is now finally available in the latest version of Chrome. In case you are wondering, users can now hover over tabs to check full page title and domain of the site in an overlay. As the full title of a page isn’t completely visible in the tab, the latest feature should help users who tend to open multiple tabs at the same time.

Thanks to the automatic update tool, you should receive the update without any problem. In case you haven’t received the latest Chrome update, you can easily update your browser by going to Menu > Help > About Google Chrome. The browser should automatically check for update. In case it isn’t, you can force a manual check to see if the update is available in your region.
