Although it’s been just a couple of days since iPhone 11 came out, we are already hearing rumors surrounding the successor of iPhone SE. According to a recent report by AppleInsider Apple is set to begin mass production of “iPhone SE 2” in January. According to reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the smartphone will be coming out at the end of March.
According to the report, the analyst expects Apple to sell between two and four million of the “iPhone SE 2” per month which will be similar to the first model.
This latest news follows the same rumors we have been hearing about the iPhone SE2 for quite a while. Earlier reports claimed that Apple is planning on launching the smartphone around that time period and the model will feature similar designs to those of iPhone 8.
If that’s the case, then iPhone SE2 will feature a 4.7-inch display but utilize the A13 processor accompanied by a 3GB RAM. While the smartphone will feature an updated antenna design, Kuo claimed that the smartphone won’t feature FaceID since Apple is focused towards making the smartphone targeted towards budget consumers.
We will have to wait to find out how Apple is planning on implementing new features to the smartphone. If the claims are accurate, then we should learn more about the upcoming smartphone in the coming weeks.
