Although it’s been quite a while since Avengers 4 came out, we are yet to learn more about the upcoming movies in the MCU following the events of Endgame. However, as studio executives have pointed out during the promotion of the latest movie, upcoming Spider-Man movie will conclude the phase 3 of MCU. As a result, it wasn’t unexpected that we will learn anything about the upcoming movies prior to Far From Home’s release. However, Disney finally announced that we will learn more about upcoming projects of MCU when the company’s D23 Expo takes place in August.
In case you didn’t know, every two years, Disney throws a convention where the studio reveals its upcoming projects. This time around, the event will take place in August and we will know more about upcoming Marvel movies on Saturday, August 24.
In an official announcement, the company said, “The Walt Disney Studios will present a behind-the-scenes look at its blockbuster collection of upcoming films on Saturday, August 24, at 10 a.m. Fans will see what’s on the drawing board for the acclaimed filmmakers at Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios and get a peek at the exciting slate of live-action projects, from Disney to Marvel Studios to Star Wars. As always, attendees will be treated to exclusive footage, special guest appearances, and more!”
While we will have to wait few more weeks before getting more information, at the moment, it is unclear which projects are currently in the works. Recently, Disney updated its release dates for several untitled Marvel movies. The dates are May 1, 2020, November 6, 2020, February 12, 2021, May 7, 2021, November 5, 2021, February 18, 2022, May 6, 2022, and July 29, 2022. Although we already know that Black Widow is already in production, there’s no news regarding other sequels available at the moment.
The event will take place in Anaheim, California from August 20 to 25. You can check out the details of the events by going here.
