Few days earlier, the company revealed that it will reach more gamers in the coming months by opening up its games to other online stores. While we will have to wait until E3 to learn more about the changes, latest promotional materials are referencing to codename for next generation Xbox console.
While we ill have to wait to find out more, the upcoming console family (named Scarlett) will consist of two different consoles. If rumors hold true, then we will see a powerful version of Xbox which will focus on game streaming along with another Xbox One S like version. At the moment, both these consoles are codenamed Anaconda and Lockhart internally.
If the company launches a console with streaming capabilities, it will follow Phil Spencer’s latest comments that Microsoft will announce products to compete with Google’s Stadia.
