As Sony moves towards next generation of consoles, one of the most respected developers Naughty Dog has decided to say goodbye to older generations of consoles. In a recent announcement, the company has revealed that starting on September 3rd of this year, PS3 will be losing the multiplayer servers for The Last of Us, The Last of Us: Left Behind, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Although the company is moving away from the older generations of consoles, it has included a sweet deal for PS3 gamers. Starting from today, all of the DLCs of the games will be free until the official shutdown. In case you are interested, you can download the DLC bundles directly from PlayStation Store.

While it’s time to say goodbye to some of the most beloved titles on the platform, it’s likely that the company will remain in news in the coming months. Recently, The Last of Us Part 2 director confirmed that the final scene of the highly anticipated game has been shot. However, we might have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on the upcoming title as the title won’t be coming out until next year.
