Samsung Might be Testing a 5G Version of Its Galaxy A90 in South Korea

If you followed Samsung related news lately, you might recall that rumors suggested Samsung is planning on launching a new smartphone Galaxy A90 earlier this year. At the time, reports claimed that the smartphone will feature a sliding rear camera which will rotate to serve as a selfie camera. Interestingly, Samsung might be working on a 5G version of the smartphone that will feature some pretty decent specifications.

While Samsung didn’t unveil Galaxy A90 earlier this year, it released Galaxy A80 with similar designs. However, the design gave us pretty decent idea on what Samsung might be working on bringing with A90. While we will have to wait to find out more, a recent report has claimed that Samsung is currently conducting tests for its 5G Galaxy A90 smartphone in South Korea. If the report is accurate, then it won’t be surprising to see Samsung testing the smartphone in the country as it surpassed 1 million 5G subscribers few days earlier.

As for other specifications, the report claims that the 5G variant of the smartphone will feature 32MP+8MP camera setup. Recently, Ice Universe claimed on Twitter that the smartphone will also feature 45W fast charging. This claim is surprising since recent reports have suggested that the smartphone will have a 25W fast charging when it becomes available.

At the moment, we will have to wait to find out more from the company. If the company is currently testing the connectivity, then chances are we will get the smartphone in the coming months. You can check out Ice Universe’s tweet below.
