In a recent announcement earlier today, Samsung introduced its new smartphone Galaxy XCover 4s. Similar to previous releases under the lineup, the latest smartphone will also feature number of protections feature where regular smartphones might not be suitable.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy XCover 4s satisfies requirements for U.S. military’s MIL-STD 810G standards and like previous releases, comes with water and dust resistance. Thanks to the coating, the smartphone will withstand any kind of drops and bumps.
While the smartphone offers a lot of protection, it comes with pretty average specifications. The Galaxy XCover 4s features an octa-core 1.6 GHz processor along with 3GB or RAM and 32GB internal storage. However, in case you need more space, the smartphone supports up to 512GB microSD card. Apart from this, the smartphone packs a 16MP rear and 5MP front facing camera. As for the display, it features a 5-inch display with HD resolution. The smartphone is equipped with a 2,800 mAh battery which should be enough for a smartphone with these specs.
While pricing of the latest device is unknown, it will be available to consumers in Italy later in July.
