Earlier last year, Capcom announced that the company will be bringing all of the classic Resident Evil games to Nintendo Switch in the coming years. Just recently, the company revealed the original Resident Evil game along with Resident Evil 4. Today, the company announced it will soon be releasing Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 for Nintendo Switch.
The latest news came during Nintendo’s annual E3 press conference for this year. During the event, Nintendo announced that both of the titles will be joining previously released games from this year.
If you were expecting gameplay footage of the upcoming game however, you will be disappointed to know that the company didn’t show off any gameplay footage during the event. However, it’s unlikely that we will see any changes made to the original releases.
At the moment, we will have to wait to find out how fans react to the titles as both of the titles weren’t’ particularly acclaimed at the time of their release. In any case, if the company manages to attract customers, it’s likely that we will be getting more of the future Resident Evil titles in Switch in the years to come.
