In a recent announcement on Twitter, PUBG corporation has announced a new partnership between PUBG and Glen Schofield.
In the official announcement, Glen Schofield revealed that he will be leading the newly formed studio Striking Distance that will oversee development of a new PUBG title which will focus on story driven mission.
In the video shared by PUBG on Twitter, Schofield said, “As a creative, the freedom to explore the PUBG universe has me excited about the possibilities, which we view as beyond battle royale. I’m excited for the next step, which is finding the right people to join us on this journey.”
At the moment however, we don’t know the details of the upcoming title but Schofield promised that we will learn more as we move forward.
In case you didn’t know, Glen Schofield is one of the most prominent figures in the video game development as he worked on numerous successful titles in the past during his time at Visceral Games. During his time at the studio, he served as executive producer of Dead Space series and several of the Call of Duty titles by Sledgehammer games.
