Vinyl wraps are extremely popular among luxury car owners as the service changes the look of a car completely without paying hefty price for a repaint. While there are several after-market companies offering the services, Porsche has announced that it is launching a new program called Second Skin.
According to the company, the program come to vehicle launching next month and from then, new customers will be able to have their cars wrapped before delivery. If you go to the online configurator, you’ll notice that the program is available for a small number of vehicles at the moment. However, the company noted that all of the Porsche models will be added in the program afterwards.
At the moment, the company is offering a large number of setups with various color scheme. If you order the 911 however, you will have option to choose Martini Racing livery. While the basic wraps start with a price tag of $4,500, the Martini Racing will cost about $6,000.
Talking about the latest program, Simon Weiss stated, “As the livery segment is a very fragmented market, we have created a central port of call with ‘Second Skin’ to guarantee quality and offer a comprehensive approach to finding a solution.”
