After months of anticipation, we finally got to see AMD’s Navi GPUs during the company’s E3 press conference few days earlier. While we will have to wait to find out how the cards perform compared to their RTX counterparts, from benchmark and specifications, it’s safe to assume that the cards will provide significant performance boost to computers. In response to the latest reveals, Nvidia has unveiled its new Nvidia GeForce RTX Super series line of graphics cards which will launch later next month.
With the latest releases, Nvidia expects to improve on its current offerings of graphics cards. According to a teaser from YouTube, the company will unveil at least three GeForce RTX Super series cards. While we will have to wait to know full details of the upcoming cards, Nvidia revealed that all of the upcoming cards will have extra CUDA cores as well as memory buffs.
As for specifications, Nvidia didn’t confirm reports speculating features of the upcoming cards. According to several reports, Nvidia will bring RTX 2060 Super as another card similar to RTX2070 with 256-bit memory bus and 8GB of GDDR6. Second of the cards, RTX 2070 Super will contain 256 more CUDA cores as it will use Nvidia’s TU104-410 GPU. As for the RTX 2080 Super, the card will contain whopping 3072 CUDA cores along with a faster memory.
Although we will have to wait until next month to find out more about the upcoming cards, it’s likely that Nvidia will launch the cards at the same MSRP of current models which will bring down price of previous cards.
