Although Metro Exodus famously found its way to Epic Games store following its departure from Steam, the publisher of the game is set to end the Epic Games Store exclusivity pretty soon.
According to a new listing in the Microsoft Store, Deep Silver is set to bring the game to the store. As of now, the official release date states June 9 which isn’t particularly surprising as it’s the date of Microsoft’s presentations during this year’s E3.
However, this latest news marks an interesting turn of events. Earlier, Microsoft revealed that it will bring Microsoft games to Steam to cater to more gamers in the coming months. However, Steam might have to wait few more months before getting Metro Exodus after its controversial departure earlier this year.
As it stands, we should learn more about Microsoft’s plans during the company’s Xbox E3 press conference later on June 9.
