In a recent blog post earlier today, LinkedIn introduced several new features in an attempt to help users to communicate with each other on the platform.
First of all, the network will now allow users to tag others in photos. While the other popular social networking sites have provided similar functionality for a long time, the late but welcome change will allow users on the platform to communicate more effectively. Moreover, users can now add their feedback to contents by already known icons such as “Like” and “Heart” similar to those found in Facebook.
Moreover, the company also noted that users will now find it significantly easier to post slides and PDF directly into contents. In smartphones’ side of things, the post button is now available at the bottom of the screen with the messages button in the top right corner to make it easier to communicate.
Apart from these, LinkedIn revealed that users can now share video messages to their contacts on LinkedIn. Although the feature was available in form of posts, it will now extend to messaging going forward.
