In an attempt to help publishers improve engagement on the network, LinkedIn has announced several new features to LinkedIn Pages.
First of the features is a custom Call-to-Action button and Analytics. According to the company, this feature will allow admins to measure engagement with their pages. The company wrote, “As a Page Admin, we’ve heard that you want the ability to customize the way you engage with your Page followers and visitors. Beyond the primary “Follow” button, we’ve now added the ability to select a custom CTA button for your Page. Five new options make it easy to turn your Page visitors into potential leads, and new analytics dashboards provide deeper insight into how many visitors are clicking through.”
In case you are interested, you can find the analytics of the custom CTA buttons in two places: Dashboard on the left-hand side of your Page Admin home and top of Visitor Analytics tab. At the moment, the CTA button option allows you to create these custom buttons:
- Contact us
- Learn more
- Visit website
Apart from this, LinkedIn also announced Communities Hashtags and Mobile Admin Editing. With ‘Communities Hashtags’, you will be able to associate your pages with hashtags and keep track of important conversations. On the other hand, the ‘Mobile Admin Editing’ you will be able to post, reply and edit your pages from mobile devices.
While we will have to wait to find out if the latest features improve engagements on LinkedIn pages, the company promised that it will continue to bring new features on a quarterly basis.
