Jupiter Will be Closest to Earth Next Week

In case you are interested in watching Jupiter with naked eye or using a binocular, you will be able to do so next week as the planet reaches its brightest and biggest this month.

In a press release, NASA revealed that Jupiter will be visible with naked eye whole night on June 10 as Earth will be directly between the sun and the planet.

While you will be able to view the planet without any equipment, NASA said that it’s a fantastic opportunity to view the king of planet through a binocular or a small telescope. If you decide to use a binocular, you will be able to see the planet’s four largest moons along with the clouds surrounding Jupiter.

While Jupiter is visible throughout the year, this will be a great opportunity to view the planet without any equipment. However, in order to get the best view NASA recommends that you go to an area with low light pollution.
