Although we are couple of months away from getting our first glimpse into what Apple might be planning on bringing as successors of iPhone XS and XS Max, a recent report in Korea has claimed that the smartphone might feature the best battery life among all of the iPhones.
According to the report (courtesy of Phonearena), Apple is set to use a battery with 3,110 mAh capacity. While it might not seem a lot compared to Android smartphones’ batteries, it will be the biggest battery used by Apple to power iPhone to date. If the report is accurate, then iPhone XR2 will also increase on iPhone XR’s 2,942 mAh battery.
Apart from a larger battery, the upcoming iPhone has also been rumored to be more power efficient thanks to the A13 chipset. If that’s the case, then the iPhone XR2 might easily give up to 12-hour battery life.
At the moment however, these are just rumors and thus should be taken with a grain of salt. As we move towards the announcement of the upcoming smartphones later this year, we should learn more about potential specifications of future iPhones.
