Although HTC was one of the most popular smartphone manufacturers in the early days, that’s not the case anymore as Samsung and Huawei have established themselves as leaders in Android smartphones market. However, both Sony and HTC are trying to keep themselves in the market as both companies release some decent devices from time to time. If you are a fan of HTC, then you’ll be glad to know that HTC has teased an upcoming smartphone on the company’s Taiwan Facebook page.
In the Facebook post, the company teased an announcement on 11th of June. Although we aren’t sure what the announcement will bring, the company is yet to reveal a smartphone this year. As a result, it’s more than likely that we will see a high range smartphone on the day rather than traditional mid-range devices the company is known for.
This latest news lines up with the rumors surrounding HTC’s U19e. Previous leaks pertaining to the smartphone have suggested that the phone might be packing a Snapdragon 710 processor and 6GB of RAM. While more details are unknown at the point, the company will have to provide some great features in case they want to compete alongside recently launched Pixel 3a.
As for HTC, the company is currently rumored to work on a 5G smartphone. At the moment however, we will have to wait until next Tuesday to see if Huawei indeed releases a smartphone.
