After months of anticipation, 343 revealed recently that Halo: Reach for PC will start beta this month. Recently, the company has launched the first public beta for the upcoming title to get feedbacks on the current build of the game.
In a blog post , the studio confirmed the launch of first test flight will run until July 1. As previously noted, only a small number of people were selected to participate in the program. Unfortunately, only 1,000 people were selected based on their PC’s specifications to ensure that the developers have enough variety in hardware configurations.
As for the mission itself, the flight contains the Halo: Reach Campaign ‘Tip of the Spear’. 343 revealed that they wanted to check if everything is working as intended on PC on a broad range of hardware. Following the end of the current flight, 343 will provide more details on the results of the beta. At the moment however, it’s unclear how many more betas 343 will introduce before launching the final game.
