While PC gamers for a long time have wanted to play recent installments in Halo franchise, Microsoft kept the recent titles Xbox exclusive for a long time. However, we are set to get several Halo games starting from later this year as 343 announced that Halo: Master Chief Collection will be available on Steam later this year. While we’ll have to wait to see if we get Halo 5: Guardians, it seems that we might be getting the game on PC sooner than expected.
This latest news comes thanks to a listing on the Microsoft Store Page for upcoming Xbox app for Windows 10. The page contains a banner at the top of the page which surprisingly contains Halo 5: Guardians. While we will have to wait to find out if the game is coming to PC, it’s also the only game which is yet to be confirmed for PC.
Although the banner isn’t a confirmation at all, we might learn something about Halo 5 in Microsoft’s E3 press conference. The company is expected to showcase Halo: Infinite, the next installment in the series. With Halo 5 released after the Master chief collection became available, it’s likely that we will hear something from the company sooner than later.
As the E3 is just few hours away, we don’t have to wait too long to find out more about the upcoming games from Microsoft.
