Google Fixes Android Q’s Bootloop Issues

Shortly after Google launched the 4th beta of Android Q few days earlier, a number of users complained that their devices got stuck in a bootloop. While performing a factory reset solved the problems for most users, Google acknowledged the problem as the company paused the update shortly after reports started surfacing over internet. In a recent follow up to the incident, the company has revealed that it has fixed the issue that was causing the bootloop and the update should now install without any problem.

The latest announcement came via Google’s Twitter account where the company noted it has updated the downloadable images for developers. The company noted, “We’ve resolved the issue affecting some users when updating to Beta 4 and we’re resuming updates.”

“All enrolled devices will receive a new Beta 4 update to QPP4.190502.019 (even those with Beta 4 QPP4.190502.018 installed). We’ve also updated downloadable images for developers.”
