Google Brings Back its $0.99 Movie Rentals with “Ultimate Weekend” Deal

Back in February, Google introduced the $0.99 movie rentals. If you had missed the deal at the time, you’ll be glad to know that Google recently announced “Ultimate Movie Weekend” on the Google Play Movies & TV store. As a result, you’ll be able to rent several blockbuster titles and popular movies directly from Play Store.

In case you aren’t aware, the promotion is a digital rental deal in which multiple digital marketplaces are participating. At the moment, you can rent movies for same from price from both Walmart’s Vudu and Apple’s iTunes.

You should note that the discount isn’t limited to older movies. If you are interested in renting recently released movies, then you will be able to get them at a discounted price as well. For example, the recently released Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is available for $2.99 instead of $5.99 during the promotion.
