Earlier today, T-Mobile announced that its customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy S10 5G starting from June 28.
While you might be interested in purchasing the smartphone immediately, note that the 5G network is currently available in parts of six major U.S. cities: Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York as you can see from the coverage map for each city by going here . However, if you purchase the smartphone, you will still be able to use T-Mobile’s LTE network.
As for requirement to subscribe to 5G network, T-Mobile won’t require you to purchase a specific data plan to access the network. However, the network is extremely limited at this point with more infrastructure coming later this year.
In case you are interested in purchasing the Galaxy S10 5G, the smartphone will be available for $1299.99. If you are qualified to installments, you can opt for a $31.25 monthly payment plan with a $549.99 down-payment for a 24-month contract under T-Mobile’s no-interest equipment plan.
