Earlier on Saturday, EA revealed that season 2 of Apex Legends will begin on July 2. When the season 2 launches, it will be available on PS4, Xbox One as well as PC via Origin. Additionally, the game will contain a new Battle Pass which will contain daily and weekly challenges to give players ability to earn crafting metal.
EA launched Apex Legends earlier this year in an attempt to compete with popular battle royale games such as Fortnite and PUBG. Shortly after the launch, the game became an overnight success as the game registered more than 10 million players within first 3 days of its release.
However, it still has a long way to go as Fortnite has over 250 million registered players at the moment with Apex Legends boasting 50 million registered players as of March this year.
