Game streaming is taking center of the attention this year as major companies including Microsoft and Google introduced their own services to accommodate consumers. At now, Bethesda has decided to join the market as the company unveiled its plans to bring streaming based products in future.
The latest announcement came during Bethesda’s E3 press conference as the company said it wants to improve the streaming experience for gamers. It said, “Orion was designed to improve the player experience by mitigating latency and reducing bandwidth requirements. Orion was also created for publishers, streaming providers, and developers to lower their streaming costs and ensure that games perform at the high quality they intended. Orion makes it possible for streamed video games to reach more players in more places without compromising quality.”
While other companies are bringing their own game streaming products, Bethesda might be more interested in bringing in technologies to improve the game streaming performance. However, we will have to wait for a while in order to know more about Bethesda’s plans regarding the service.
