Amazon released the first episode of The Tick back in 2016. At the time, the show eventually received an entire
full season and was highly praised by both fans and critics. However, Ben Edlund, the series’ creator has revealed that the show is now officially dead.
In case you didn’t know, following the season 1, Amazon renewed it for another season. However, earlier last month Amazon announced that the company will cancel the show with Season 2 will be the last season on the network.
While Edlund since then tried to find another network for the series, unfortunately it didn’t work out and we won’t be getting another season.
After much door-knocking we have found no new home for the Tick series in this current market. #SaveTheTick & #LunaTickArmy I’m sorry we could not reward your glorious support with better news. I am so proud of the show, of the cast and crew and writers, and so warmed by the fans

Edlund’s confirmed the news via Twitter where he revealed that he couldn’t find a network which is interested in the show. However, in a follow up tweet, Edlund said, We will look for other opportunities to continue this story with this cast…’
While the cancellation is disappointing, the first two seasons of The Tick is available on Amazon and free to Prime Video subscribers.
