Apple to Start Letting Apps to Use Both Cameras at the Same Time

While Apple introduced several new features with upcoming iOS 13, one interesting feature you might have missed is the multi cam support for apps.

In an announcement earlier, Apple revealed that the iOS 13 will have multi camera support for photos and videos as long as you are using one of the most recent models of iPhones or 2018 iPad Pro or later. Additionally, with the upcoming iOS 13 developers will be able to provide spatial audio via their apps by controlling sound recording through iPhone’s microphones.

This isn’t the first time we will see similar features in action. Samsung has included dual camera mode with its Galaxy S and Note series of smartphones. However, the company removed the feature earlier last year.

As for Apple, the company won’t be providing the functionality via the official app. In case third party developers want to include this feature, they will be able to do so without problems.
