Although analysts over last several years have predicted that Apple is ready to shut down iTunes, the company continued the platform. However, ahead of this year’s WWDC, reports have suggested that the tech giant might finally call it a day for the platform. And now, the company has removed that all of the contents from its Instagram and Facebook accounts.
The changes were first noticed by MacRumors which pointed out that the company might have switched its accounts over to the new platforms.
This news however, doesn’t come as a shock as many analysts have predicted the end of iTunes for some time now. However, it won’t be the death of iTunes as Apple is more than likely to launch standalone apps for different products. Luckily enough, we don’t have to wait much longer as the company’s annual even kicks off tomorrow. We are likely to know more about the upcoming changes during the event.
