When Marvel released the first Iron Man movie back in 2008, few would have predicted that the studio would go on to create a series of successful movies. Apart from becoming some of the biggest box office hits, all of the movies featured great storylines. Although not all of the movies are available in 4K resolution right now, in a recent interview with Collider, Victoria Alonso and Jonathan Schwartz have revealed that all of the movies of Marvel Cinematic Universe will eventually become available in 4K in the coming years.
During the interview, Alonso said that Marvel is currently planning on releasing all of the movies in 4K eventually. She said, “We are going to remaster all of our films in 4K. We’re in the process of doing that, so it’s all happening.”
At the moment, several movies have been released for Marvel movies including the Iron Man trilogy, Thor and Thor: The Dark World. All of these movies are set to receive 4K Blu-ray release in the coming months with Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant-Man getting released in near future.
