Uber to Start Kicking Low-Rated Users from Its App

Uber has gone through some significant changes over last couple of months and it seems that the company is working on bringing several other features in the coming weeks. According to a latest tweet from Jane Manchun Wong, the company is testing a new feature that will allow users to add different drivers with a list of favorites in case you want to ride with them in future.

While the company hasn’t confirmed anything, the feature is still in testing phase and it’s unclear if it will make it to the product. Although the company hasn’t confirmed this feature, it has announced that it will start deactivating users from the platform if their ratings falls below a threshold.

The announcement came via an official blog post where the company wrote, “Riders will receive tips on how to improve their ratings, such as encouraging polite behavior, avoiding leaving trash in the vehicle and avoiding requests for drivers to exceed the speed limit. Riders will have several opportunities to improve their rating prior to losing access to the Uber apps.”
