Few months earlier, Microsoft revealed that it’s working on a new feature for Excel where users would be able to enter data into an excel sheet using an image to make it easier to use the application. Recently, the company has started rolling out an update that brings this feature to iPhone users.
In order to use this feature, you will need to enter Excel and select “enter Data” from picture. Afterwards, you’ll be able to capture an image which will then be processed by AI to create a spreadsheet. If you are using Office in your iOS device, then you’ll be able to benefit from this feature.
The company wrote, “With this feature, you can easily grab any data in a table format—financial spreadsheets, work schedules, task lists, timetables, and so on—and convert it to a digital format in Excel, so you can arrange and analyze that information quickly and in context to make better decisions on the fly.”
If you are interested in using this feature, you can wait for the automatic update from Microsoft or simply head to iTunes to update your Office app in case you want your hands on the latest feature as soon as possible.
