Google Claims that Digital Wellbeing Isn’t Hindering your Pixel’s Performance

Recently a number of Pixel owners have claimed on Reddit that disabling Digital Wellbeing feature on their devices has improved performance of the devices significantly. However, in an official announcement, the company has revealed that the feature isn’t causing any performance hinderance on Pixel devices.

In the thread, the company has claimed that it hasn’t found any evidence of the claim after an analysis of the app.

In case you aren’t ware, the Digital Wellbeing app is available on all Pixel and Android devices as well as devices from several other manufacturers. The app runs in the background to give users information on their smartphone usage.

However, the company has confirmed that it has found several bugs which are responsible for the performance impact and is planning on providing solutions in the coming days.
