According to a preliminary report by Kantar Media, the Super Bowl on NBC has generated $414 million in advertising revenue which is a record for a regulation game.
While the number is impressive, Kantar revealed that the figure is slightly below behind last year’s Super Bowl which generated $419 million.
The report revealed that the biggest advertiser of this year were Anheuser-Busch InBev and Fiat Chrysler. Interestingly, there were only four new sponsors in the Super Bowl this year as 40 percent of the companies that purchased spot didn’t return.
